1) Product description/Model/Performance Introduction/Functionality

A groundbreaking protein material platform developed by Spiber and inspired by the diversity and circularity of nature. By harnessing the power of precision fermentation (brewing), Spiber engineers proteins at the molecular level, resulting in versatile materials that can be tailored to specific needs. This innovative solution opens up new possibilities for sustainable and high-performance materials in various industries such as apparel, food, automotives, and more. Brewed Protein™ fibers are commercially available worldwide.

2) Product production capacity/price

Spiber successfully began mass production of Brewed Protein™ polymer in 2022 at our proprietary precision fermentation plant in Thailand and spinning facility in Tsuruoka. This milestone has enabled broader adoption of Brewed Protein™ materials, with Brewed Protein™ fiber now available globally.

3) Product Application Instructions

Brewed Protein™ fiber is a premium, plant-based material produced using Spiber’s fermentation (brewing) technology, providing a circular solution and pioneering a new category of protein fibers.

Composed of proteins, Brewed Protein™ fibers offer high moisture absorption and release performance, while their fine, flexible, and scaleless nature contributes to a smooth appearance and enhanced comfort.
